Classed Choropleth

Classed Choropleth maps display data using varying colors to represent varying "classes" of values. The example map above is presents Methane Emission (in tons) from beef cattle, North Carolina (1992 - based on county statistics). The "dark burgundy" corresponds with the highest tonnage class (1906-2657.81) while the white corresponds with the lowest tonnage class (0-127). This map is effective in displaying which counties have the heaviest amounts of methane emissions (relatively speaking).
